Today at the doctor's office we got to overhear the nurse laying into an insurance company. It seems that they have been trying to precertify a PET scan for someone and because of the insurance company incompetance or lack of communication, it had been 16 days with no progress. Can you imagine having to wait 16 days to do a scan to see if cancer has spread throughout your body? It was friggen insane. The nurse was awesome. I need to hire her to get all my needs taken care of on the phone.
Everyone keep your chins up and think positive thoughts. Not just for us, but in general. It's going to be ok!
