How I'm Doing

I have heard comments and reread my posts and can understand that many people out there are concerned on my behalf. I want to make sure that I do the good and the bad and not just leave everyone with a feeling of worry or concern. I am actually doing ok. Am I 100%? No, but who would be at this juncture. The love of my life is "under attack" and me, typical male, can do nothing to protect her. Let's put that aside for a moment.

Life in general is good. I am mostly tired right now given the travel for work and not sleeping well. Generally, however, I am in good spirits and have much to be happy about and thankful for. I don't mean this in the "I suffer well" category. I am really just doing well. I would love for things to be different/better, but they're not. I am still, under all this, an idealist (Matt you are still the CRO in my book).

That said, please don't hold back on whatever it is you wanted to chat with me about. I am open to hear whatever is going on---even what's going on for you. It's hard to always talk about myself---I've never been good at that. Much happier listening. Probably why a career change is imminent.

So just to keep everyone in the loop---done traveling for a while and catching up on my home day-to-day stuff and rest. I look forward to hearing from all of you!

I would like to talk about how you two, even in the depths of a personal crisis, still managed to cruelly addict me to an evil evil time suck of a computer game. Inca empire? oh yes. Try to take over the world as the Chinese? yes please. And this is only day two. Now if only I could get Vietnam and Korea to realize they should give up their futile resistance and be my vassals... So yes, we will have to have a sleepover weekend to conquer the world when we get back and you are well again.

Ah! Wait until you explore the cheat keys! I am going to try the game with unlimited cheating but where I can only keep those territories that were originally mine or declared mine through events in the game---i.e. resolutely small.

Europa Universalis II for those of you playing from home.

Chief Reality Officer--He was the cynic and I was the idealist. Made me the Chief Blue Sky Officer (CBSO). We talked about positions within a company at one point.
